Job summary: Responsible for Identifying new business opportunities for business growth with both existing and potential customers
1. Identifies new business opportunities for business growth with both existing and potential customers.
2. Keeps up to date information and analysis about the company’s products, services and competition, using SWOT and other tools.
3. Ensures that records are made and kept on details of inquiries, comments, and complaints as well as the actions taken.
4. Maintains a comprehensive customer data base.
5. Ensures that all required customer meetings are scheduled, attended punctually and documented.
6. Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
7. Participates in the design, development and implementation of the company’s sales policies.
8. Carries out market research on customers and competitors, and makes recommendations on same.
9. Cultivates, maintains and manages strong relationship with customers.
10. Provides management with oral and written report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new products and services.
11. Ensures strict compliance with the Company’s Policies & Procedures.
